The Eurotec caseframe family from Verotec is a modular multi-purpose design based on the KM6 subrack system, designed for applications that require standard 3U and 6U PCBs or modules to be housed in either a desktop, 19” rack mount or portable enclosure. The core design is a versatile enclosure in its own right, and standard depths are 240, 360 and 480mm and backplane or DIN41612 connector rear extrusions can be specified.
Verotec’s IMRAK 1400 Series racking system gives users, 19” rack system configurers and installers unparalleled features and options that have made it the market-leading electronics rack across many applications and installed environments for many years. IMRAK is far more than a basic rack, its design attributes and wealth of features means that it is used anywhere from ships’ decks to data centres, from harsh industrial environments to broadcast studios, telecoms and cutting-edge research organisations.
Rack cases are a key building block of rack mounting systems, enabling electronic, electric and electro-mechanical sub-systems and assemblies to be mounted easily in any standard 19” enclosure. For non-adjustable requirements they will be secured directly to the 19” front and rear panel mountings, or if repeated access is required, they can be mounted on telescopic slides to enable them to be withdrawn from the front of the cabinet. Verotec manufactures three different designs, available in a number of different sizes and with several options.
Verotec has been chosen to supply customised IMRAK cabinets to the The Land Systems Reference Centre (LSRC), which have been specified as the default rack for the communications test equipment. An initial tranche of 15 IMRAK cabinets against an overall order for several 100 has now been delivered.
Comprising machined / plated / painted extruded front and rear panels, a mix of silk screen and digital printing and fabricated steel base & lid, the 19” rack-mounting Juggler chassis that Verotec has been making for the last 18 months shows off our in-house manufacturing capability very well.

Last month, Verotec exhibited at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show, held at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre on 11th -13th February.
Showcasing the latest technology in machinery, production equipment, electronic assembly, tooling and components as well as subcontract services, the show was well attended by both exhibitor and attendee alike from across the industry.
