Verotec recently supplied a number of desktop VME64x chassis’ to the US naval air systems command (NAVAIR) to facilitate the research and development of a radar tracking system. The custom solution included a 6U/6 slot VME64x backplane & card cage, dual redundant / hot swap power supplies & an optimized fan cooling arrangement.
The Eurotec caseframe family from Verotec is a modular multi-purpose design based on the KM6 subrack system, designed for applications that require standard 3U and 6U PCBs or modules to be housed in either a desktop, 19” rack mount or portable enclosure. The core design is a versatile enclosure in its own right, and standard depths are 240, 360 and 480mm and backplane or DIN41612 connector rear extrusions can be specified.
