Conversion kits are available for the horizontal PCB mounting of plug-in modules in both single and double Eurocard formats. The Space series can be used as either a desktop or 19″ rackmount enclosure, by adding optional mounting brackets for straightforward installation into 19″ racks.

Engineered to meet EMC requirements, the cases are suitable for use in demanding environments and can be further enhanced with additional shielding materials upon request.

Designed to accommodate both plug-in modules and non-standard components, the cases can be used as desktop enclosures or converted to 19″ rackmount systems with optional mounting brackets. Ventilation slots around the card cage and rear panel support effective heat dissipation, further enhanced by the heat-sink design of the side extrusions.

The cases are suitable for use under EMC criteria and can be upgraded with additional shielding if required.

The 12U, rack-mount chassis houses up to 21 x 6U VME64x boards in a secure & EMC compliant environment whilst delivering in excess of 1.2KW of power. Optimized cooling is achieved from two, independent, filtered fan trays that deliver airflow in a push-pull configuration.
