Product Feature – Veroshield Case

The EMC & IP54 rated Veroshield case is designed for applications that demand a high level of RFI screening, protection against ingress of dust / water and a cosmetic appeal without compromising on strength and usability.

The unit is manufactured from galvanised steel to provide electrical conductivity. It incorporates an Aluminium front panel for 19” rack-mounting with a removable top, and front & rear panels to facilitate easy modification and access to electronics within.

LBX (Little Box) cases are versatile, metal enclosures based on a clam-shell design for desktop applications that can house electronic components in a multitude of ways.

The range comes in 16 sizes, and all feature removable front and rear Aluminium panels which provide significant real estate for switches, indicators & connectors. The internal chassis can accommodate plastic guides or chassis plates for circuit boards.

Moreover, 3U&6U Eurocard PCBs can also be plugged directly into the enclosure and mated directly to a DIN41612 connector via the connector plate accessory.

Product Feature – Eurotec Caseframes

The Eurotec Caseframe is a stylish metal enclosure, available in a desktop, portable or 19” rack-mount form factor.

Although it’s suitable for many electronics applications, it’s compatibility with Verotec’s KM6 subrack range, (in particular the fitting of PCB guides), makes it especially suited to Eurocard style boards, front panels and modules. Product Update – KM6-II Changes (Spy holes)

Eurocard front panels have traditionally included a spy-hole in the top left corner for users to view the slot (HP) number through, which is printed on the upper, horizontal rail of a subrack.

Almost all manufacturers of Eurocard & plug-in module products on the market these days choose not to include this feature, meaning Verotec’s standard range of panels can often not be used by customers.

Therefore, from January 2023 we will phase out this feature and only print the slot (HP) number on the top face of front rails for slot identification.
