Integrated Systems
Verotec offer a number of standard COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) integrated systems to address the needs of today's varied industrial computing demands. For VME and CompactPCI platforms, we offer our Type H, Type D and Type V chassis', each with its own unique form-factor and configuration options. For next-generation Carrier / Enterprise grade telecoms applications we offer both ATCA and uTCA products and for desktop PCI; a range of IPC enclosures.
Type H12
The H12 chassis is a 1U x 19" x 300mm deep enclosure offering 2 x horizontal CPCI / VME64x slots with rear transition area. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant 250W power supply or low cost equivalent embedded ATX power supply. Optimized cooling is achieved with 6 x DC fans.
Type H24
The H24 chassis is a 2U x 19" x 300mm deep enclosure offering 4 x horizontal CPCI / VME64x slots with rear transition area. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single 250W embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant 250W power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with 3 x DC fans in either a fixed position or in a removable, filtered tray.
Type H36
The H36 chassis is a 3U x 19" x 300mm deep enclosure offering 6 x horizontal CPCI / VME64x slots with rear transition area. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single 250W embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant 250W power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with 3 x DC fans in either a fixed position or in a removable, filtered tray.
Type D10
The D10 chassis is a 9U, Half-Width x 422mm desktop enclosure offering up to 10 x vertical CPCI / VME64x slots with or without rear transition area. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with a removable DC fan tray.
Type D21
The D21 chassis is a 9U, Full-Width x 422mm desktop enclosure offering up to 21 x vertical CPCI / VME64x slots with or without rear transition area. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with a removable DC fan tray.
Type V4
The V4 chassis is a 4U x 19” x 300mm deep rack-mounting enclosure offering up to 8 x 3U CompactPCI. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10, the system can be configured with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with a fixed DC fan tray.

Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with a removable DC fan tray.
Type V9
The V9 chassis is a 9U x 19" x 430mm deep rack-mount enclosure offering up to 21 x vertical CPCI / VME64x recessed slots with or without rear transition area. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with a removable DC fan tray.
Type V12
The V12 chassis is a 12U x 19" x 430mm deep rack-mount enclosure offering up to 21 x vertical CPCI / VME64x recessed slots with or without rear transition area. The unit features additional space for peripheral mounting and includes an acrylic door. Designed to meet IEEE1101.10/11, the system can be configured with a single embedded power supply or with up to 2 x pluggable PICMG 2.11 compliant power supplies. Optimized cooling is achieved with 2 x removable DC fan trays.
TecSYS (VPX Development)
The VPX specification offers a whole new level of performance. However with no legacy systems around, developers needed a platform to start working from. The TecSYS offers a flexible entry-level solution, with a 5 slot 3U full mesh X4 PCI Express VITA 46.4 backplane in the versatile Diplomat enclosure. The TecSYS chassis is suitable for use in the development environment and for demonstration or target systems.
ATCA
Verotec can assist in the design and supply of both ATCA components and configured chassis" to customer"s requirements. Our range includes both 14 & 16 slot "Carrier" grade vertical ATCA shelves and 2-6 slot "Enterprise" grade horizontal ATCA shelves. These are complimented by a range of accessories including load boards, front panels and replacement filters. A choice of backplane topology, shelf manager controller, power entry and level of redundancy means countless possible shelf configurations are possible which is why Verotec"s approach is project based.
uTCA
The design of uTCA in terms of module sizes & function, carrier hubs, power requirements and size means there are countless possible shelf configurations. Due to this and the custom & application specific nature of uTCA, Verotec"s approach is project based. Also available are a range of accessories including load boards, front panels and replacement filters.
IPC
Verotec"s range of Industrial PC / server chassis' are designed for applications were standard PC (ATX) computing architectures are adopted in industrial environments. The range consists of a 2U, 3U and 4U chassis in a standard 19" rack mounting form factor for ease of mounting. They have been designed to offer IP and EMC protection, resistance to shock and vibration and also security, making them an ideal housing for computers in rugged & hazardous environments.
